BASE House Solves Growing Space Issues
With increasing restrictions on height and space in municipal areas of Toyko, the Komada firm has been able to answer by designing a space that is both office and home, all built on a footprint of only 10 square metres. The BASE House as it is called provides a working space at street level and a larger and open two floors of living space above it.
A mixed use space such as this is something that could be the answer to the dilemma many cities are facing with their space issues.
