The therapist may send you home with a list of exercises to do so that you can strengthen you back, you may be required to loose weight and eat better or you may have to invest in some back friendly furniture. Changed habits along with the massage therapy will over time mend your back and return you to a more normal life. While the changes may be hard to adapt to, living without daily back pain will be a welcomed change.
